Kingfisher Wilderness Adventures - Provisioning and Logistics Coordinator
PROVISIONING AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Term of position: May 1 to September 30*
Hours: 37.5 to 40 hours a week
*possibility of a part time position during the off-season
Location: Port McNeill, BC
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in conjunction with our customer service and administrative team, preparing tour information packages for guides that include logistical details, detailed guest information forms, supply lists, and menus
- Working with guides to ensure equipment and supplies required for each tour are prepared
- Filing and organization of pre and post tour paperwork
- Maintaining, and adjusting as necessary, the water taxi and van transportation schedules for guides and guests
- Supply ordering from multiple vendors
- Organizing and stocking of dry goods
- Packaging supplies for each tour
- Purchasing fresh local food supplies as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and on-line forms and calendars
- Exemplary organizational skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team, take directions, and provide direction
- Class 4 or 5 drivers license
- Reliable voice and text communication on the north island
