THE OPPORTUNITY We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant based in Nanaimo, BC and Port Alberni, BC . What You’ll Do: The Assistant Accountant will provide accounting and finance support for the Operation and will serve as an integral part of the accounting team providing accurate, concise, and effective financial processing and reporting. Who You Are: This is a valuable growth opportunity for a CPA candidate to work alongside an experienced accounting team in the sustainable and ever-evolving forestry sector. You will come with 1-3 years of working accounting experience and are highly comfortable with using MS Excel and various ERP systems. The ideal candidate is organized, able to prioritize various tasks, and capable of building strong relationships with the operations team. Work Environment: This role will be preformed in person at the Duke Point Sawmill in Nanaimo, BC or Alberni Pacific Division in Port Alberni, BC.
