Kwakiutl Community Security Check Point Workers - INTERNAL
The Kwakiutl Band seeks resumes or letters of interest from community members and Band employees for the positions of Checkpoint Worker. Reporting to the EOC Chair or (her designate), Checkpoint Workers will be assigned certain checkpoints in the village. The primary aim of these positions is to help prevent Covid-19 infections by monitoring and regulating persons and traffic entering the village. Checkpoint Workers will work alongside security staff and adhere to all the required protocols, procedures and regulations as outlined by the EOC, WorkSafe and the CDC.
Shifts: 4 hrs each (8:00am to 2:00pm) & (2:00pm to 8:00pm) – shifts will run daily over the next 10 days or so.
Term: Short-term, casual, on-call, piecemeal work
Competition Closes: Ongoing - Workers hired on an “as needed” basis
